In this capital city one can still find houses with Colonial red roofs, big porches and patios (court yards) that remind us of the days of foundation. Another thing that lasts is the devotion for Nuestra Señora del Valle (Our Lady of the Valley), that every year gathers multitudes of peregrines from the whole country and defines the identity of the city.
